How to connect to a MIDI keyboard
« on: March 16, 2020, 12:06:56 am »
I tried to connect two different MIDI Keyboards to the MicroFreak via a Standard MIDI cable and the adapter that came with it. A Roland A-500 pro and a Commodore MK-10 ( ;) ). I set the MIDI-in channel to "all" on the MicroFreak and tried to send some keys. I can't hear any output though. Is there anything I'm missing here? It should be quite straightforward, right?

I just tested my midi controller (midiplus x6) with my Microfreak using the same steps you took, and it worked... so maybe there is something wrong with the cable you're using? Tried another cable, or midi to 1/8 adapter?
