Please don't reset gain of each sample slot when loading new samples

When loading a new sample into a slot, then the gain of this slot is reset.

It would be better if the gain is not reset, which is the case for many parameters. For example, i do not have to reset the root key of each slot when i load a new sample, and that's great.

I think that none of the sample slot sample parameter should be reset when loading a new sample.

I am sure that "loop on/off" could also not be reset each time (it could be activated and take start and end as default loop points, if it cannot keep the sample start/end of the previous setting).

I agree, it's not very convenient to touch gain knob each time we change a sample.

Also, the root key should not change back to C3 each time you load a new sample  :-/

I guess no parameter should change or be reset when loading a new sample or wavetable :-)

Yes, maybe could we ask for a "lock" option which could be enabled/disabled, depending on the user's wish.

I agree a lock/unlock parameter would have everyone happy in all situations :-)
