Loop parameters not recalled in Studio One v4
« on: December 26, 2019, 05:57:36 pm »
Hi,
The loop parameters are not recalled in Studio One v4.
The whole section loads in its default "off state".
it concern the loop button, fade, loop start/end etc
They cannot be saved in Studio One v4.

If the  loop is saved in the Standalone Vresion of Pigment, then they can be restored in Studio One v4 (it loads ok).

Thanks

Hi and welcome to Arturia forums.

Do you talk about the Sample module?

If so as i assume, then all of it seems to be saved in my Studio One 3 (i don't have S1-4). But If i edit the parameters you mention again, then for some reason Studio One does'nt make the "Save" active in the File menu, and the edits are not saved.

However - If i change a parameter, that does make Studio Ones "Save parameter" active, then i can save it all again, including the parameters you mention.

Perhaps it's because the parameters is'nt parameters that's for automation or internal modulation, that the "Save" does'nt get active. I can't tell.

It's a bit strange, but it look like it works as long as you do something that make Studio Ones "Save" active.  Perhaps Arturia should have a look at it, and determine if this is a bug or not. Perhaps it's exspected you save preset, if you edit those parameters.

But as you after having saved the edited preset in the DAW, apparantly does'nt activate the DAWs "Save" until you actually select the new preset again, then it does look like there is a bug.
Perhaps this can have to to with "lost presets" issues too?

Thanks for your input LBH, yes I speak about the Sample engines. Presets seem flaky on this part of the synth.  I hope it is not finished yet :-)
