Thinking of buying
« on: August 10, 2019, 05:48:00 pm »
Hey fellows, how are you liking your KeyLab MKII's?

I've been thinking of buying one to replace my Keystep. I never quite got used to the shorter key travel when playing it, so I'm looking for something with bigger keys but still able to fit on my side desk, the KeyLab should just do it. I like that it comes in white, I like that it has aftertouch, and I like the faders on the right, though I can't quite tell how long they are -- the longer the better.

I didn't realize it had CV outs until a moment ago, that'll make it a great replacement for the Keystep whenever I get into modular, and it's nice that there are a bunch of pedal inputs.

Does this thing work with the MIDI Control software like the Keystep and let you customize things a bit like velocity curves?
