Changing presets = Occasional loud pops
« on: July 13, 2019, 07:03:42 am »
On a number of occasions, changing presets in Analog Lab, and in the Jupiter synth, has caused a massive volume spike.  Sometimes it is a pop.  Sometimes there is a loud sustained sound.

This is not only terrifying when it happens, but it also threatens to damage speakers/cans.

Problem is with the latest version of plugins + latest Logic Pro.

I see various comments on this issue going back quite a ways when I search for it.  Please track this bug down, thanks!

I've had this same problem. When wearing headphones, it's so loud it could damage my hearing. It doesn't happen consistently for me with any one instrument. It does it infrequently enough that I forget about it, and then when it does, it hits me with the most terrifying noise. I'm worried it could damage both my speakers and my hearing.

I'm using Logic Pro 10.2, on El Capitan. I'll be upgrading to both 10.4 and Mojave soon, and will see if I have the same thing after upgrading.
