Hi
I am really enjoying the Easel. Sounds amazing and it's great to learn more to get me thinking about synthesis properly again.
I'm working through the original 70s manual and have a few questions / requests.
First, the sequential voltage source seems to span a greater range than suggested in the original manual. If you apply it to note-frequency the vst gives 2 octaves, whereas the original only had one octave (unless the manual is wrong*)
Second is that most of the floating, popup labels on the sliders are wrong. Sorry. Not the printed panel ones but the small black box that appears when you move a slider. They are all, slightly lazily, set up as a 0-1 range with 0 at the bottom. None of the 22 sliders is a 0-1 scale. Many are 0-10, some are log scale and there are a few frequency ranges. No one seems to have noticed that the envelope and pulse sections have the smallest values at the top of the slider range 😂.
.
Small things but rather a shame
Is it possible to get a quick fix on these?
Finally a straight out request. It's terribly unBuchla but it would be good to be able to right click on a slider and enter a value, especially given the range crammed in the small space. You could combine this with a quantize function in the sequential voltage control
Heartfelt thanks for making this available as a plug in that cost a lot less than the real thing.
Take care
Philip
