When I'm working on sounds in some of the larger Vcollection6 instruments on my laptop, I keep having to scroll up and down to get access to the in-software keyboard (in cases where I'm not using hold, for example to develop ADSR). That's painful. Even when I have my hardware hooked up, it still requires shifting from the laptop to the hardware and back each time. I would be super grateful for some of the QWERTY keys to be mapped to midi notes - even just a single octave - to do immediate tests.
If you don't actually want to code it, do you know of a hack to make it happen? For example I can easily configure vmpk (open source QWERTY midi keyboard) to play the instruments from the Vcollection6, but it requires vmpk to be active in the window, which requires window shifting. I just want to be able to move a dial or move a cable and hit a key to see what effect the edit made.
THANK YOU!
