DX7 CPU Hog
« on: December 27, 2017, 05:16:07 am »
Please tell me here are optimizations scheduled for this plugin? I’m on a 3.5GHZ quad core x16 ram SSD system and I’m roasting my CPU with 3 plugins played together. I was hoping to emulate a TX816 by playing 8 simultaneously but as of right now this is a no go for live gig situations.

I have noticed this too, compared to other Arturia plugins the DX eats up a lot.

Beside of fixing bugs the new version seems to be less CPU intensive as well.

Just tried the 8 instances on a new 2018 i9 2.9GHZ MacBook Pro 32gb ram via MainStage, Gig Performer Live & Logic... She tops out at 4 max & that's with the cpu hovering around 64% while nothing is being played... If Dexed can emulate the DX7 with barely a bump in CPU why can't Arturia? This is still very frustrating..
