So, I'm interested in using the four band pass filters of the formant filter as a generalized waveform shaping tool but for that to really work, I need to get the frequencies to follow the keyboard.

The Formant Filter doesn't have the sort of "direct connection" that the oscillators and the other filters have for following the keyboard and I'm having a little trouble dialing in a frequency input setting and keyboard follow setting that gives almost perfect keyboard follow for the formant filter's band pass filters.

Can anyone offer any tips?

I decided to revisit this topic and I think I nailed it.

Unless I am mistaken, the 'magic number' for keyboard follow for Amount FM Formant# is 0.925. I just connect a keyboard follow to the frequency modulation jack for a respective bell filter and that's that.
