Midi learn with NI Komplete Kontrol
« on: June 07, 2016, 10:30:35 pm »
Am I the only one having problems with Midi learn in V Collection 5 ? I'm on Windows 10, Cubase 8 and Native Intruments Komplete Kontrol Keyboard.

Okay, let me elaborate. On my V2 version of the V Collection, when I press midi learn, I can have any knob on my NI Komplete Kontrol Keyboard  kontrol any function on any synth.
If I press the midi icon in the top right corner of any V3 instrument and try to do the same, I can't.
Can anybody please tell what I'm doing wrong!?

Komplete Kontrol overrides the MIDI CC control, and uses its own set of configurations to assign functions. If you look at the top of the KK plug-in window you will see the knob icon. Click that, unlock the functions with the padlock icon, and you can modify/add whatever controls you want via that menu. The Arturia plug-in MIDI learn functions only work using standard MIDI CC data outside of the Komplete Kontrol plug.
Hope this helps I too was initially confused.
