Questions about the Pads and the D.I.Y. Drum template
« on: August 17, 2011, 10:10:58 pm »
2 questions:
First:
Can you change the pads in the velocity?
Some pads do not react with light attacks!
Second:
I have installed D.I.Y. Drum template, and loaded my own kick drum sample into the first pad. But I can find no attack controller, but i will control the attack time. What can I do?

You can try the Pad calibration process in Spark MIDI Control Center.

Sorry but it is not possible for the instruments that don't have the Attack parameter.

Thank you Kevin for your answer, but it does not help me.
When I hit on the pads, I hear no sound with gentle strokes.
The pads only respond to strong shocks!
Under Preverences (under Midi Import / Export) I find a setting, is that the Spark MIDI Control Center?
I can use to adjust the volume of instruments, but not the sensitivity of the pads! Right?
Or where do I look?

Spark MIDI Control Center is another software located in the same folder than Spark standalone.
Quit Spark software then launch Spark MIDI Control Center. In the Action menu, you have to select Calibrate Pads. The follow the instructions. Unfortunately, it should not solve your problem because it only calibrates the pads for maximum value. But you can try.
