VST Plugin / Mac / Cubase

Hi!

Which version number is the Spark VST on Mac???
i've installed the latest update, but the VST is/shows still 1.0.0.0.
is this correct??

BECAUSE:
- Neither Drag'n'Drop of Midi, nor Audio doesn't work!
- Recording of an Automation of the Spark hardware controllers doesn't work!
- internal Drag'n'Drop to copy/past/duplicate patterns doesn't work!

i have to test more functions... but i stopped here, because these 3 topics are essential for my work with Spark...

- REX import doesn't work on Mac...



i don't know if it's worth buying Spark for Mac at the moment...
For jamming a bit in standalone mode with internal presets... hmmm...

i hope you can fix this fast, because it could be a really nice product and it is of course a nice idea!

If you have early Beta versions, don't hesitate to send it to me!
I'm working for several companies (FXpansion, Native Instruments, SSL, ...) and tested some beta stuff for Origin...

Just saw, that if i click on "Arturia Logo" (VST instrument), a popup window comes up with the right version numbers...

(Only the cubase VST info shows at "About Spark" Version 1.0.0.0)

but i have still the problems.

Remove the VST and reinstall again.  Your VST should be 1.1.0 also...

From where are you trying to drag?
I tested it here and it works. The drag'n'drop is from the Library Veiw in the Current project  panel (see attached)

Can you give me some details?
I tested both and seems to work fine.

just wanted to write that today dragging is working!!

audio is running great, BUT midi isn't exporting shuffle value...
only straight midi + controllers.

Recording of automation is working too today...

REX import feature still doesn't work (tested with 32bit AND 64bit, standalone AND VST).

i still don't know why it's working now and didn't work last time.

I have to test more!

Hi Marcus,

For the moment, Spark is not exporting shuffle-lized pattern.
Actually you can export 'non straight' midi using shift parameter in the sequencer automations. This parameter let you unquantized notes from the current pattern resolution.

But as you noticed the shuffle is not exported - as it's not a 'direct' note parameter.
But it could be something that can be done.

But exporting/drag'n'drop as audio uses shuffle....



please add this feature, because i want to drag my whole "creation" (Beat/loop) as midi to my sequencer, otherwise it's not useful.

Audio is working great (today), so that s nice to, BUT i have only loops without the possibility to record automation of spark parameters to my sequencer.

btw. recording other "live" features Loop, etc. into internal spark seq would be amazing too!
