Regarding the question about program changes - no, you can't automate program changes from within a DAW.
This was actually a question I asked in the user forum about a year ago. I think it took about 3 months for someone to answer my question.
It's a very strange omission on Arturia's part. Program changes are a part of all their other synths, so why not Jupiter 8V? Who knows?
