help - cutoff frequency is choppy...
« on: June 21, 2006, 08:40:38 am »
on my uc-33 the response of the cutoff frequency tunes a little choppy. shouldn't this be infinitely varable? is it a bug from the software or does my midi controller just do a bad job? i'm pleased to get some answers here.

This is the nature of midi.  There are only 127 values that represent the various positions of each knob.  You might be hearing 'zippering' between knob settings...  If you want infinitely variable cutoff, buy an analog keyboard.
