Is firmware update possible from a Linux computer ?

Hello,
I'm planning to buy a MIDI controller for an exclusive Linux setup and I wonder if the KeyStep 37 can update its firmware from Linux.
Did anybody already try this (through wine or any other method) ?

I don't think this is possible unless you can run a good window emulator that has full Windows MIDI support. You need to be able to run the MIDI Control Center to be able to do the updates.

It's probably easier just to get hold of an old Windows laptop and use that. There's literally thousands of ten year old laptops cluttering up eBay and other for sale sites, often for very little money, any of which will be perfectly adequate for downloading and installing firmware updates.
