Control Mode with Step Buttons

Hi, all!

I'm having trouble using Control Mode with the Step Buttons.

I am able to use Control Mode with the Knobs and Pads, works great!

I turn on the "View, MIDI Console" in the MIDI Control Center and can see the knobs and pads sending the MIDI messages.

When I try to press the Step Buttons, nothing appears in the MIDI Console.

I think I've got everything setup as per the manuals.

- Device Settings, Scene Mode is On
- Setup a very simple pattern each for Seq 1, Seq 2, and Drum
- Saved as a pattern chain

When running the Scene, everything seems to work except the Step Buttons in Control Mode.

I've attached the Device Settings and the Project.

OK, I guess that this is just how the Control Mode works when Scene Mode is turned on. The step buttons in Control Mode with Scene Mode turned on will load the Scene that corresponds to the button.

Chalk this one up to a new user learning how things work.

OK, now I've found another issue with the Step Buttons in Control Mode.

If have Scene Mode turned off. I am using the default mappings of the Step Buttons. Step Button one is set to CC 20 - Undefined.

I set Control Mode on, set Channel = 11 and use the step buttons. But when I press Step Button 1, the code sent is CC 12, not 20. And after that Step Button one is now lighted in red.

What is going on? Is this a bug? Am I doing something wrong?
