Playing Keylab MKII with own samples?

Hi guys,

I have a bunch of samples from a certain sound I want to copy.

So basically I have a sample for every note in the range I need: A sample D1, a sample E1, F1, F#1, ... and so on. Each sample plays the respective tone for about 10 seconds and then fades out.

What I want to do, is to "create" my own virtual instrument from this heap of samples, being able to play them like any other virtual instrument. Is there any way to do this with my KeyLab 61 MKII?

What I don't want to do, is to just trigger them as samples. Because then, I wouldn't have the possibility to use aftertouch, velocity etc... And I would have to adjust the length for every single note, which would cause problems when I want to play the same note in different lengths.

For the software, I use Analog Lab V and Ableton Live.

Hi,

Keylab MK2 is just a midi controller. A midi controller can ie be used to control a instrument/sampler that can handle and play single audio samples, the way you wan't to do it. And then you need to learn to do it.
