when I first acquired the V collection 5. knowing that the DX7 was the most widely sold hardware synthesizer in history. I thought there might be a good collection of Sysx files floating out there on the net. Turns out, I was right. I found 430,000 of the little buggers :-)
Ok, so here is how it is. Fact 1: I downloaded them all from a couple of places, then tried to trace ownership or "public-domain" info about them. and the sites were dormant, with no response then or since. I think one site was created by someone offering them to the DEXED user community. Fact 2: there are undoubtedly "second, third and fourth" copies of presets within the collection, so they need to be auditioned, sorted and culled. Fact 3: Way too big a task for me.
Question. If I were to offer the entire collection say as parts "A,B.C" etc.(way too big for a single upload/download)
would anyone in the forum want to sort them? or even want them as the collection for their own resource? Please let me know.
