Keylab mkii Expression pedal issue
« on: February 23, 2022, 12:25:58 am »
Hello all,

I recently got an M-Audio EX-P expression pedal for my keylab MKII 88 and I can't get to work.

With the pedal in the down position the keylab LCD displays a value of "0", as I adjust the pedal the value doesn't change until a certain point where it jumps to "127".
It seems to be behaving like a switch instead of gradually incrementing values.

I have the socket mode set to "Control" so I don't see the setup being an issue.

I've also tried switching the polarity of the pedal, adjusting the knob on the side of the pedal, reverting the keyboard firmware back to older versions, tryed different pedal sockets, tested the resistance and voltage produced by the pedal (no issues).

Does anyone have any other suggestions to try? Or have experienced this issue?

I've contacted Arturia support and they just copy/pasted the pedal FAQ from their website then stopped communicating.

Thanks for reading!

Nacho

Turns out I just needed to do a factory reset of the keylab.
Sorry, should have searched the forum for this issue as it had already been posted and resolved.
