Keylab 88 Mk II does not sync in MIDI Controller

With the Arturia MIDI Controller app, the Keylab 88 MK II does not sync, yet the MIDI Controller manual states it belongs to the category of hardware that supports the Sync function. The Sync button is greyed out. What could I be doing wrong?

Sync may be greyed out because it's already synced. Try hitting Ctrl+M to see if MIDI messages are coming through, then maybe try changing a pad colour. My KeyLab 61 Mk2 doesn't give me the option to sync but it still works.
