modwheel skips values even at very slow moves (and rotary knobs problem)

my keylab 61 pro modwheel skips almost always one step (effectively transmitting only ca. 64 steps on the whole way - instead of 127), even when moved extremely slow. this is visible both on the keylab display, as well as on the midi monitor in studio one and it is also reflected by the recorded automation data. this also happens with the rotary knobs above the sliders - though not to that extreme extent (however - especially the rotary knobs actually suffer from not correctly interpreting up/down alterations - i.e. when constantly moving it up, then only one value down, it often happens, that the value at the direction-change jumps higher upwards first - sometimes to a way higher value - before the downward movement is correctly interpreted. this results in a lot of automation glitches when recorded). the faders on the unit seem to work quite satisfying though.

can you please advise on what to do?

First of all bear in mind this is a users' forum and queries are only very rarely responded to be Arturia staff. If you want to guarantee a response from Arturia you would need to raise a support ticket through your account.

But to answer your queries, these anomalies have been mentioned various times and I think a conclusion has been drawn that unfortunately there isn't a fix. My personal opinion (other opinions are available) is that the issues are hardware related and cannot be fully remedied by a software patch, even though I know there has been at least one attempt by Arturia to do so.

well, i feared so... t.b.h. in summary i am really disappointed by this device. too much that actually doesn't work as expected or advertised.from the noisy undamped keybed with rather mediocre velocity response due to the fact you simply reach max velocity by just blowing on the keys (no curve can fix that) to the practically unusable aftertouch response, which also is way too sensitive and the response curve alters depending on which key you press - lower keys are pretty unusable, the higher you get the kinda better it works - but still way below a normal and usable response, then the above described issue plus the rotary knobs value jump... this keyboard simply doesn't live up the claims at all... at least. and just to be clear - of course i do not expect a fatar keybed action from 1000 usd+ master keyboards. but this is simply way below standards in mostly every regard. even the old m-audio keybeds are way better... that's all imo of course...
well... off to sell it and get something else...
