beatstep sequencing midi in out

Hi I m having issue sequencing the beatstep to and external device ,
connecting gate out to midi in of the device ,work fine with ableton tho..!
help will be appreciate!     ???thankssss

Hi. I have a brand new BSP. I can't get it to control either my Volca Beats - midi channel 10 or Volca Bass via midi - channel 1 and/or 2. I can get it to sync via cv so do you have any idea what I'm missing? Please let me know if you've resolved your issue.

 Im trying to use the beatstep pro as the main clock and hub of my setup. ... I have sequencer 2 sequencing a Korg volka FM via the midi out.
