Mellotron V, their attempt at a sampler in this VC iteration, can't even do more than 8 user samples in a patch. ???
Just to be precise now this is mentioned in this EMU request thread. Mellotron V have 3 tracks that each can have 8 samples for a total of 24 user samples in a single preset.
Arturia also have the CMI V, and also Synclavier V can use samples. They are not EMUs either, so just to have the information and say, that i don't think Mellotron V and an EMU request has anything to do with each other. If Arturia can, will and have the possibility to create a EMU, then i think they will.
There are many requests for new emulations in the forums.

it would be great to have en vEMU from Arturia. I think is a logical addition to the lineup of classics. I would love to have no only the original sample libraries, but the sampling capatibility from a live input or side strip. That would be terrific.  8)
