Square LFO with Noise
« on: June 01, 2023, 03:47:26 pm »
Hi,

I would like to generate a sound who's like a "Hi-Hat Train" (tch, tch, tch, tch). And my idea was to use OSC3 Square signal to control Noise Source but there is no control input for noise. And after testing routing the OSC3 Square to control the outputs 1&2 levels, it works but we can ear a "glitch" at the beginning on each "step". What could be the best approach to do that?
Thanks for your help.
Juan

Hi,

my idea was to use OSC3 Square signal to control Noise Source but there is no control input for noise.
You can in example route waveforms from OSC3 into one Ring Mod input and Noise into the other Ring Mod input. Then the output from the Ring Mod is a noise modulated by OSC3.
