Better tracking of last selection in large preset list
« on: April 14, 2019, 09:58:32 pm »
When the list of presets for an instrument is lengthy, and I am currently using a preset that is not on the first page of the list of presets, the next time I return to the list (generally by clicking on the name of the current preset at the top of the instrument) the displayed list returns to the top of the list, and I am forced to scroll down to find the current name in the list.

Other programmers will either at least show the current selection at the bottom of the screen, or better yet, center the selection on the screen.

For example:   MATRIX 12 has a fairly lengthy list. If I select "Plucked" from the list, then click on "Plucked" again in order to return to the list - the list will display on the screen starting back at the FIRST item on the list, and I am forced to scroll down to find "Plucked" on the list, especially if I want to select a different preset close to "Plucked".

Maybe not everybody would want this, if not, could it be a display OPTION??   This could be a nice time saver.  (And yes I know I can use the arrows on the keyboard, but I like looking at the preset names...)
