Now I've had time to dig in and investigate, I'm very impressed how this thing works because with the choice to use standard subtractive/analog style waveforms like saws, squares etc, I've been able to make sounds very unlike a DX. Add the ability to impose a filter on the output with envelope control, and the unison etc, it's become quite a powerful unqiue synth.
Apart from handling the standard DX style sounds, I'm really happy to be able to include far more thicker, analog-ish sounds as well.
