Midi Control Center not starting
« on: November 23, 2015, 10:36:25 pm »
I realise this isn't the proper part of the forum, but as I'm using the Midi Control Center for a Beatstep Pro this makes sense.

Thing is I can't start the Control Center on one of my two machines. It works perfect on my HP 250 G1 (Win 10) but not on my Thinkpad T500 (also Win 10). I've tried reinstalling, using registry cleaners, safe mode, compatibility mode. Nothing. I've ran out of ideas completely. The program appears in task manager for about a split second and then disappears. Can't find any error log or something else.

I've got the same problem. Midi control center for my MiniLab just refuses to start. Tried reinstalling it a bunch of times, admin mode, compatibility troubleshooting mode, it won't start. It DOES start if I run it from another account on my PC, but it's a pain in the ass to switch user every time I want to change a setting, and I'm not that enthused about having to move all my settings and files to another user account.

I am having the same problem. New Windows 10 Laptop - I have installed Midi Control Centre and it seemed to install correctly. When I try and start it I get the little working icon for the mousse pointer (the spinning circle) for about 2 seconds and then nothing.

It's important for me to be able to configure my beatstep as it's a key part of my set and I would prefer not to have to switch to my backup PC each time!
