I don't use computer, I record to a box and I have everything synced via midi except my Rhythm Wolf, which is synced via drum gate. I generally run drums on two machines and a third kit on a sampler. I can hear everything changing tempo, speeding up and slowing down in time with each other. I'm not digging that much swing in my pieces.
