Jupiter 8V maxxing out single core on dual core MBP?

Problem with my MacBook Pro 2.33 Ghz, Leopard, 3GB Ram, 320 Gb HD 7200rpm, Logic 8.

When I play CPU intensive parts on the Jupiter 8V,  only the right handside core on the MacBook Pro is being used, and sometimes maxxing out, cauing stutters/glitches etc

BUT the first core is sitting there idly doing very little!! I can see this from the CPU activity meters.

My guess is the Jupiter 8V is not optimised to use both cores on a dual core machine?

Any fix/work around?
