Minifreak V Controller Only

Is there any way to use the Minifreak V Plugin solely as a hardware synth controller excluding sound generation? I would like to use it in Logic projects to recall presets and automation but would like to save CPU load (25-30%)

I think the answer you're looking for is on page 103 in the manual: https://downloads.arturia.net/products/minifreak/manual/minifreak_Manual_1_0_0_EN.pdf

"MIDI allows for this with a setting called Local Control. In simple terms, Local Control turns the connection between the keys and the sound engine on and off. That's what the Local Control setting on the Utility > MIDI menu does."

Thanks for the answer but unfortunately it has absolutely nothing to do with what I asked. I was talking about the virtual version Minifreak V.
