Error on GUI loading (SOLVED!)
« on: March 15, 2022, 07:06:05 pm »
Hi there!
I've been using Analog Lab V for a while now and recently have run into an issue of Analog Lab and other plugins not wanting to cooperate in Reaper.

This is what it says when I open them in Reaper:
"
The instrument version (5.4.5.1834) does not match its resources version (5.4.7.1882).

To resolve this issue:
- Open the Arturia Software Center and go to 'My Preferences > 'Folders'
- Make sure the VST paths matches the plugin folder defined in your DAW.
- Reinstall the instrument from the Arturia Software Center with the 'Reinstall' button.
"
Interestingly enough, in FL Studio it worked alright, but for some reason it doesn't work in Reaper. I can't click on anything inside the plugin.

This happens also with the other plugins I've installed, that is: Piano V2, Wurli V2, VOX Continental V2, Analog Lab 4.
I tried to reinstall all of them a few times already, verified the file locations and lost count of what else I tried.

I have Win 10, 16 GB RAM, Arturia KeyLab 88 MkII, Reaper and everything should be up to date.

Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

The instrument version (5.4.5.1834) does not match its resources version (5.4.7.1882).

To resolve this issue:
- Open the Arturia Software Center and go to 'My Preferences > 'Folders'
- Make sure the VST paths matches the plugin folder defined in your DAW.
- Reinstall the instrument from the Arturia Software Center with the 'Reinstall' button.
"
This state the plugin that's on the path Reaper read is an earlier version than the ressources.
Or perhaps you have 2 plugins in a plugin folder? Check both VST2 and VST3 locations.
Or perhaps you have the same plugin types installed in more than one location, so you have multiple installs?
Have you checked you load the correct plugin version in Reaper?

You say nothing is wrong in FL-Studio. If both DAWs actually point at the same plugin type and location, then perhaps there is a corrupt Reaper File. Perhaps you need a new plugin scanning file in Reaper. I don't have Reaper, so i don't know how it work.

I would check all the above.

If it does'nt help, then i suggest you contact both Arturia and Reaper support.

Also note that when you click on the plugin in Arturia Software Center, next to the "Reinstall" button there is a drop down arrow with "Clean Preferences."  Doing this has fixed glitches a few times for me, without doing a full reinstall.

Thanks everyone for your replies!
LBH was right, I did look through all my folders where there could be the plugins and stuff and the plugins were there multiple times (though I have no idea how that could've happened). I uninstalled/deleted all of them then reinstalled them again, which solved the issue (hopefully for good).

Again, thank you!
