Key aftertouch
« on: December 05, 2021, 12:41:43 pm »
SQ80 V manual has only two mentions of aftertouch in passing. Does the SQ80 V respond to key aftertouch? The Ensoniq SQ80 was the first of their keyboards with key aftertouch.

PS--The SQ80 V topic was there when I first entered the forum, but when I signed in, the topic disappeared. I was in it at the time, and the system declared I did not have the authority to be there.

Hi,

SQ-80 V has MPE (midi polyphonic expression). But i don't know, if it has normal polyphonic aftertouch. If you have a keyboard or controller that actually has normal polyphonic aftertouch that can take advantage of such a feature, then you can download SQ-80 V and try it out.

I don't have a MPE or polyphonic aftertouch keyboard or controller, so i have'nt tried it out.
