Stopping DAW transport cuts off midi input
« on: June 15, 2019, 01:28:11 am »
In other words, if you are playing Pigments with a midi controller and you hit stop on your DAW's transport it cuts off whatever note you were pressing down. It's a small thing but kind of an annoying behavior, and could be inconvenient in certain live scenarios.

I've checked that it works this way in both VST2 and VST3

Using Ableton Live 10.1, Windows 10.

I does'nt do this in my DAW on Windows 10.
It could be DAW specific or a setting in your DAW.
Are you sure you only have this behavior with Pigments? If so are your Pigments fully updated?

I can't say I've specifically tested it with all my softsynths, but this is the first time I've ever noticed it with any synth. In several years I'd have to have noticed this at least once or twice if it were happening. I'll have to specifically check if anything else does this.

And yeah, my Pigments is current, unless it's been updated in the last 2 days or so
