is there a way to turn scene mode on without the Midi Control Center?

i basically only bring my laptop to gigs in the off chance that the scene mode shuts off. this has only happened twice but thats twice too many. imagining it happening right before a show 

is there a way to turn scene mode on without the Midi Control Center / laptop? I haaaate bringing my laptop to the club.
