Forum - Every post needs verification?

Just joined after a frustrating introduction to Arturia and now finding every time I go to post in this forum I need to go through a 2001 style verification of letter id (even the listen function sucks) and questions.

Is this forever or does it go away after a bit?

I tried search and also searched the front page for house rules (which aren't there).
