Undo function
« on: November 01, 2018, 09:38:50 pm »
Working with Synclavier V is fascinating. But as you probably already know, it's easy to make a change you don't want and then you can't return to where you were.

Right now I feel an undo function is what's needed most, before more lovely do functions are added.

Watching the original Synclavier tutorial where 11 frames took 3 minutes to resynthesize, Synclavier V is quite an achievement.
Thank you

Hi and welcome to Arturia forums.

Yes just a simple undo in all applications to undo the latest change could be a good tool to have. But this is also a new lovely do feature, and not a needed bugfix to make it possible to do something a way you should be able to allready.

You are right, that's why this is a feature request.
Are there any bugs still left in Synclavier?
Regards
Stefan

I have'nt checked. I don't recall Synclavier ever have had many bugs reported.
The feedback parameters is still having the same issue as in Stage 73 V and Clavinet V. (Clicking)
And this bug is'nt fixed either: https://forum.arturia.com/index.php?topic=91852.0#msg148960
Perhaps there are more, but those two come to my mind.

But keep in mind that there are other applications in V-Collection that have bugs. Some bugs and unwanted behaviors are quite important to get fixed.

Things that work allready, also work without another new do function like an undo.
Bugfixes also improove the workflow, as you actually will be able to do what allready should be possible.

Best

I need a undo function for switching the GRID MODE: SYNC ON/OFF.

I load a sample (Piano - loud).
I choose ANALYSE BOTH & AUTO PLACE with 99 FRAMES.
The engine places 66 frames.

If I switch SYNC to ON, all my frames in the time line are replaced on the basic frame (violett 67).

So I switch back to SYNC OFF - but all the frames are still on the basic frame position!

(Win 10, Nuendo 10, Synclavier 2.5.2)
