Polyphonic voice distribution
« on: February 07, 2018, 01:13:16 am »
I'd love to be able to use my Keystep to create poly chains with MIDI mono synths (or combination of mono and poly's)

- Holding SHIFT and pressing keys 1-16 would chose if and how many voices would be allocated to a specific channel
- while still holding SHIFT, turning the Mode dial sets the allocation mode, up, down, random, order, etc..

imagine being able to create a 4 voice poly out of 4 microbrutes, or having the Keystep turn an Elektron Digitakt or Analog Rytm into polysynths as well

Yes this is a great idea.  I'm upto six monophonic synths and have been dreaming of stacking them for years now.
Currently running https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/1311723 / www.modulargrid.net, sequencing with KSP and recording with a Zoom (no DAW involved, for better or worse ;) )
