Previewing presets from Midi Control Center

Hello All,

I can't seem to find a way to preview presets by clicking/double-clicking them in the Midi Control Center Project lists.  Memory protect is off on the MB. I see the little send icon flash yellow when I click on a given preset, but nothing new loads or seems to be sent to/received on the MB.  What am I missing?  Otherwise, Midi Control Center is talking to the MB fine (bulk get/sends).

This is a typical feature of other software-editors-for-hardware; usually you can browse single presets in order to organize/amass a new bank of sounds to transfer.

I really get the feeling the answer is right in front of me... thanks for the help!

There is no preview feature. You have to drag the preset across to the synth and then (re)select it. I have set aside few preset locations on the synth for this purpose as well as "temporary saves" in lieu of a compare function.

Hmmm, ok thanks for that clarification.  Just checking though - by re-selecting, you mean physically sending the patch to the MB and then calling it up from the front panel, correct?  Because, if I could preview the sound from the MB side of Midi Control Center, that'd work ok for me as well. 

If not, +1000 for adding that feature Arturia!!!

Yes, that's right.

I agree that a preview function in the MCC would be nice - it could just send the double clicked patch to the edit buffer, not overwriting any presets and becoming instantly audible.

1 to open your stored banks
1 to see the MB itself
1 where you can sort sounds into


but much better would be 256 pages on the MB itself
to store and organize patches

to be dependent on the computer is weird for such a classy synth
