Question Instrument Slots
« on: January 02, 2018, 12:27:59 am »
Very new to CMI V. Loading instruments into slots, fine.

a) How can they be removed if I don't want anything in it's place?

I realise I can just mute the instrument but in the interest of simple tidy work I'd like to be able to empty a slot I'm not using.

b) Is it possible to begin working on a (blank) sound with no instruments rather than selecting a preset?

Many thanks.  A

Hi and welcome to Arturia forums.

There is a "RESET" button/ tab on the Sound page, just under Tune/ Map. That will reset the selected/ current slot.

I don't think there is a init/ default preset. But you can just create one or more yourself.
It would be nice in any application to have a init/ default factory preset.

Yes this will reset all the parameters of the selected slot.

The kind of "init"preset is "Sarrar", only one slot is used, we didn't make a real blank preset because of the beginners that may take it for a bug.

Otherwise, as said LBH, you can reset all the slots then save it as an "Init" preset.

Many thanks.

No manual con cover everything in such a malleable system as this.  I'm grateful for such quick solution.
