Any update on dimming or even changing the lights on the Beatstep? i think an update is needed to change the configuration of the lights also.
There's red, green, yellow blue and lilac? to choose from.

Bumping this thread to also request setting to change LED brightness. The LED's in the pads are crazy bright, so much so I put paper over them when I don't need to change parameters. It's blinding in a dark room.

Thought I’d bump this as well, but at the same time thinking ‘what’s the point?’ as many other legitimate requests have been done over the years of which none were implemented as far as I know (transposition, random step etc.). Additionally, if this dimming option was indeed implemented on the Keystep, why not on the Beatstep Pro? Makes me wonder if there are limitations regarding memory or something.

Would like this as well. Now I would keep it at current brightness most of the time but if I'm recording video the BSP is a big white blur.  It's the brightest device by far.

I actually went and bought color filters for stage lights, opened my BSP, and put strips of color filter behind the large pads. This dampened the overall light emission from my BSP a lot plus the light from the large pads is now all pink/purple-ish, which in my opinion is slightly ridiculous but also rather nice. Not very difficult to do but then again ... opening your BSP is probably not Arturias #1 recommendation ;)

I received my sequencer today, I can´t stand the LED lights, if there is no control for it, I might return it asap.

Has not yet? Wow, that is poor design

This would be so easy to fix, so lame they won't...
I changed my studio setup and this thing is too bright. Won't be replacing it for Arturia gear, sadly, they should listen to userd on their many unattended requests.
