Punch with 3 Oscillators
« on: December 21, 2019, 01:36:43 am »
I compared the Mini V3 to 'The Legend' and found that the latter has much more the Punch and Sound of an original MiniMoog. To be fair, it demands much more CPU Power as well. So here my Suggestion: Why not using a Switch for choosing a 'punchier' Filter-Version of Mini V3 (or some other Arturia Instruments) with more CPU Power? The Soft Clipping seems to loose Punch instead of adding it.

If I choose more than one Oscillator on Bass Sounds the Punch vanishes immediatelly (sadly on 'The Legend' as well). This does not happen with an original MiniMoog (not even with the Behringer Copy), it seems the Oscillator Drift does something completely different than Arturias Emulation (but anyway, slightly Detuning doesn't help here as well). If I try the same on (the great) Pigments, using the Mini-Filter it works much better (and sounds much fatter) than on the Mini V3. Why????
