no 9V power
« on: September 10, 2016, 04:27:17 am »
Hello, brand new to this community and to Arturia. I picked up my Keystep today, got it home and plugged it in, but no juice through the standard 9V jack. 9V cables that power different pedals but no dice. I can power it via USB but that's it. Any suggestions?

Hi Discozlilla

in the manual it states that you need a 9 volt power supply that is positive to ground...boss and most other 9 volt pedal supplies are negative to ground and looks like:+____- see
reference image (A) you need one that looks like -____+ reference image (B)

input 100-240~50/ 60Hz

output 9v 500ma or 1000ma center positive/ ground to positive (-)____(+)

That is probably it. Thanks a lot. I definitely overlooked that!
