Drum mode transposed the pads
« on: June 20, 2016, 07:50:31 pm »
Hi I just bought a Beatstep Pro and for some weird reason the pads changed which midi note they send in drum mode. I can see in my software that instead of C it's sending E0, instead of C# it's send G#1, instead of D# it's sending F0 etc. I have been in Midi Control Center and there the pads are normal settings, I haven't changed any setting in Midi Control Center. Mind you, this just affects the unit in drum mode, not in sequencer or sequencer 2. How do I change it back to normal? Thanks.

Hi krangster,

Try to go again in the Midi Control Center and load an other Drum mapto see if it changes. Sometimes the MCC and the BSP don't communicate and what is displayed doesn't match with the real setting.

Thank you, the drum map was set to custom instead of chromatic. Problem solved.
