I find the current 20 multi patches in AL2 to be woefully small ... Is there any source of libraries to add multis or other patches to other synths in the AL2 environment?

They're only meant to be baseline patches.  Once you start twisting a knob here and there, then the opportunities expand greatly, and your own patches get created.
