sequencinq a Korg El samp2 as battery module to beatstep pro
« on: January 13, 2016, 05:52:21 pm »
Hi,I need to sequencinq a Korg Electribe sampler 2 (the alternative would be a akai mpx16 with all its faults) as battery module connected to beatstep pro via midi channel 10.
Does anyone have experience of this?
Thank you very much (sorry for my bad english....  :P :P)

It does not seem possible...on electribe sampler 16 pads - 16 midi channel, you can not set the same MIDI channel for all pads??

Why? The electribe has its own sequencer what are you trying to do?

Electribe use as drum machine, bsp use as sequncer on ch10.
we can not manage playing live having to drive two separate machines.
the songs have an average of 14 to 15 or 16 patterns chained in sequence (example: 1-2-3x2-1-4-5-6x3-etc ...) it would be impossible to do this by having the battery sequenced on Electribe and not on bsp.
at present use akai mpx8 as drum machines but I would like to expand to 16 samples can use the drum.
------------------
