BEATSTEP AND ELECTRIBE 2

I THERE,

I try to connect my beatstep to my korg electribe 2 in midi. I put the cable "midi out" to the beatstep and put the cable to "midi in" to the electribe. The midi chanel beatstep is 1 and global on  the electribe but nothing happened when I launch beatstep...

Hi , have you tried any other midi equipment to check that the leads are not faulty
