Notes Being Held Open

I am having the same issue. 1.1.1.6 firmware. BSP is master runnning akai xr-20 (SEQ2 and drum) Thru to Microbrute(SEQ1), over MIDI-out. It has only happened with the Microbrute so far

I said it before, i am having the same issue. All my synth and midi to cv interface are monophonic and I never use before a device that send polyaftertouch before. I ask my self if the polyaftertouch messages could be the cause of that problem. But I'm unable to disable polyaftertouch to test if it make a difference (cause I haven't a good understanding of how mcc work http://forum.arturia.com/index.php?topic=85274.msg122966#msg122966 ).
So, I'm curious to know if synths or midi interface receiving and handling polyaftertouch have held note too, or if it's only the case on synth who doesn't handel polyaftertouch. I don't like bugs, but what I don't like more than bugs, is to not understand why there are happening. So if someone can test if the polyaftertouch can be the source of this bug, it would be cool. I don't know if arturia knows already the source of this behavior or not?

Just jammed around with minimal setup Waldorf Streichfett + BSP (new FW 1.2.0.6. installed)
resulted in the same old issue (held notes, only going away from hitting stop 3 times)

Should this problem be fixed with FW 1.2.06 anyway?!

This bug is just killing the flow... happened 3 times in 30min last night

is there any progress on this bugfix? Will this be fixed on the upcoming firmware?

Have to kick this thread again...

also with the new Firmware 1.3.0.23 (which does a great job besides this problem) this is happening constantly, while recording and playing over the beatstep pro.

Could someone from Arturia tell us if there will be a bugfix for this?

does that happen regardless of the "Wait to load pattern" (activated/ deactivated  in the MIDI Control Center) setting?

it happened on FW1.2.0.6 and it is happening with the wait to load pattern function activated on FW1.3.0.23.

How do you have this set up so i can try. can you tell me what your doing when you get held notes.

Itīs happening in all constellations randomly. No Computers and no USB Connections are involved.

1.)
BSP --> Midi Out --> MIDIHub 6way --> seq1 ch1: Minibrute SE
                                                            seq2 ch2: Microbrute SE
                                                            seq3 ch10: Korg Volca Beats
                                                            ControlMode ch3: Waldorf Steichfett
- Minibrute SE also used as external keyboard via Midi in

BSP --> Midi Out --> seq1 ch1 / seq2 ch2: Waldorf Streichfett (Omni Mode)

It seems like no specific situation is necessary for causing this. So it happens during playback randomly on seq1 or seq2, or when playing over external Keys, or even in recording mode.
I could try to figure out if it is a distinct note that causes the hold note, or is there anything else what could help sorting this out?

FYI, i own two BSPs at the moment, it happens on both devices :-(

bummer, really been hoping that would be fixed with the new firmware,  since this bug is nothing new at all and has been reported here on the forums by several users.
And this bug is exactly the reason why I didn't buy a BSP yet, plus it would be appreciated if ARTURIA would be more informative regarding plans for future updates, if there will be any more?

the vid shows the bug, but in addition my instruments hold the note, even if the BSP is set to STOP.
The held note disappears not until you hit the STOP button 3 times quickly.

For all those who want to buy the BSP for use in a live situation, better wait for a bugfix....

Hi All ,
I just spent some time looking at this problem and can confirm the bug . First i found some other issues with ghosts in my machine . These where caused by the latest update . it is recommended to clear all patterns
What you all need to do is save your projects then load the default project into all projects to help clear the memory .Then reload your projects. I also noticed my metronome keep coming on when loading a project even though its off in the mcc.

But the main issue seems to be with Seq1 on the midi out . After a few to serval minutes a midi note looses a not off and seems to crash all other notes after .

I started a technical request on Arturia.
In the meantime, has someone a workaround for this... excluding returning the unit for refund?
