Question for terrym
« on: April 30, 2015, 08:43:36 pm »
HI terrym

I am an existing BS owner, and my only problem with it, is that when you want to transpose via your midi keyboard
you have to hold the key down, as soon as you release it, BS goes back to the original setting

So I have 2 questions before I jump and by the BSP

1.)  Will this have a latch mode when you transpose ?
2.)  Will it have a Rachet mode   ALA tangerine dream

cheers for your time

Hi kevin, I'm in the middle of testing and transpose has not been added yet .as to ratchet mode ,do you mean play more than one drum pad at a time?  or trigger the 8 gates at the same time?

regards

terrym

HI thanks for the quick reply

I think the transpose thing not latching was upsetting quite a few people
on the BS   so fingers crossed they implement it

About ratchet mode, I mean say I have an  8 note sequence running
but I want  for example step 4 to repeat  2 , 3,  or 4   times before moving on to the
next step. But keeping the timing of the whole sequence.

if I havn't explained it very well, there are plenty of examples of step sequencer ratchet mode on youtube

I think Tangerine Dream  made the effect famous

cheers again for your time
