Export iSEM preset / Sem V compatibility ?
« on: October 02, 2014, 04:56:28 pm »
Hi,
Would it be possible to export iSem presets and import them into Sem V plug-in (and the other way around) ?
Same goes for iMini presets...

It would save so much time !
Thanks

I'm with you moonra. Any info on this would be great. I use iMini when I'm away from home to create presets. It's useless (to me) if I can't use those presets with Mini V.

Hi.

I use Imini and Mini V. I realized some of the presets in the Imini which i really like were not present on the Mini V and so i had to find out how to get them to the Mini V. I searched articles and couldn't find any. But trust me there is a very effortless way.

Step I

ON the imini, choose the preset you want to export and hit save.  It would open a dialogue asking you to save it as percussive, keyboard etc. Choose you option and hit save.  *watchout, change the name so you dont overwrite the original preset.

Step 2

open Itunes file sharing and locate Imini and voila you will find your preset.

Step 3

choose save as and determine the location.

Step 4

open Mini V and choose to import preset, then locate your preset location and import.

Step 5

navigate to my presets on the Mini V and voila you are ready to go.

ENJOY.
