BeatStep no longer functions with V Collection 4

Hi

I don't believe it's an issue with the beatstep as it works with all my other gear but since I have upgraded to V Coll 4 the beatstep no longer functions.
In the audio/mid prefs of the instrument the Beatstep is highlighted but no longer plays or makes a sound.

I have V Coll 3 on another machine and beatstep functions as normal.

So I think i've managed to work out what's going on. Seems that if you have two USB devices connected (In my case, Beatstep and the Laboratory 61) and checked in the Midi prefs, it doesn't seems to want to play the last one that was added.

Analog Factory works
Analog Lab works with only one device connected
Analog Laboratory works

The SEM, Solina V, Vox and Matrix work if you have the midi prefs open and you check one off then the other, then put them back on again, playing the instrument after you have checked the box.

All other VI have trouble with the midi prefs when more than one device is selected.

We're aware of this issue.
Currently, multiple enabled MIDI devices are causing this problem on most of our synths.
We're already working on it !

I'm also assuming that this is related to the fault in Analog Lab where all midi devices are selected and not saved once the app is restarted?

Yes, those 2 behaviours are related.

We just released an update of the VC4 (available through the ASC) that should solve your issues.

Just to let you know, it was a combination of two specific behaviours of the previous version:
1. When two (or more) MIDI controllers were enabled in our plugs, only one of them was able to communicate with the soft. This was a Juce related issue and it's fixed now.
2. In Analog Lab, all MIDI controllers are enabled at the software startup, by design, since the version 1.1. This, in order to facilitate the setup for the new users of Arturia's products.

As I said, the behaviour #2 exists since Analog Lab 1.1 (about a year ago) and did not cause any issues. But this behaviour combined with the bug #1 forced the users to setup again the MIDI settings at each Analog Lab restart (disabling all the MIDI devices except one). I understand it could be really annoying..

This should be fixed now, feel free to repost here if you still experience MIDI devices related issues.

Thanks. Multiple midi devices is no longer an issue but Analog lab still has all midi inputs on after you close the app. This might be just related to mac as another user said that windows was ok.
